Emraan Hashmi is on a promotional spree for his new web series Showtime. During a recent interview, the actor reminisced about his interactions with Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Emraan Recalls Meeting SRK For The First Time
Emraan shared a heartwarming anecdote about his first encounter with Shah Rukh Khan back in 2003. It happened during the filming of Emraan’s movie Murder. In an interaction with Lallantop, he said, “I first met SRK on the sets of my film Murder, when he had come to meet (Mahesh) Bhatt sahab. So I hadn’t actually met him, I was inside, giving my shot, and he waved to me and showed me a ‘thumbs-up’ sign and said something like, ‘You are doing well’. I don’t know if he had seen Footpath (2003 film) but that was very encouraging for me, because I am a very big SRK fan and that’s how my first meeting with SRK was.”
He later met Shah Rukh Khan again during the production of Bard of Blood, where SRK served as the series producer. Speaking of the same, Emraan recalled, “I had gone to his house, we sat and watched some episodes together. We also discussed the show because he was the producer of the show, and his observations, his points, were very important to us, very valuable for us.”
Emraan On Salman Khan’s Tardiness
Emraan also shed light on his experience of collaborating with Salman Khan on Tiger 3. Addressing a question about Salman Khan’s rumoured tardiness, Emraan offered a diplomatic response. He asserted, “I’d say he has his own schedule. He has his own timing and schedule, but he is one of the best people to work with. He is very fond of me, I am very fond of him.”
Emraan highlighted their mutual respect and the ease of conversation they shared despite the age difference. They even bonded over their shared Bandra neighbourhood and their passion for fitness.
