Tucker Carlson and Amber Rose among featured speakers at Republican National Convention – MASHAHER

MILWAUKEE – Tucker Carlson and Amber Rose are speaking to the Republican convention.

George W. Bush and Mitt Romney are not.

Trump convention planners released a list of speakers Saturday that thoroughly reflects the MAGA-nization of the Republican party, including members of the Trump family, pro-Trump commentators and entertainers, and Trump-favored lawmakers.

Family members who are speaking include sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric, and daughter-in-law Lara Trump, who is a co-chair of the Republican National Committee. Former first lady Melania Trump is attending the convention, but is not on the speaker’s list.

Entertainers include singer Lee Greenwood, author of “God Bless The USA,” and Amber Rose, who is described as a “rapper & influencer.”

There are no Trump skeptics on the list: Hence the absence of the last pre-Trump Republican president, Bush, and the last pre-Trump Republican nominee, Romney.

The convention will hear from the staunchest Trump fans imaginable. They include Peter Navarro, a former White House who is being released from prison this week over contempt of Congress for refusing to testify about Trump during a Jan. 6 investigation.

The list does not include days and times for the speakers, partly because it likely includes the vice presidential nominee. The list of lawmakers includes finalists for the running mate slot: Sens. J.D. Vance of Ohio, Tim Scott of South Carolina, and Marco Rubio of Florida, and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.
