Desert Hot Springs police are investigating a shooting that killed a 31-year-old man Friday night.
The shooting was reported near the 66-100 block of Pierson Boulevard around 9:04 p.m. Police Chief Jim Henson said officers found the body of a man when they responded to the area. The Riverside County coroner’s office identified the man as Desert Hot Springs resident Christian Salas.
No other details are being released at this time, Henson said.
