The British transit line Network Rail released a video compilation of recent close calls between people and trains in an effort to warn the public to pay attention at level crossings during the summer holiday season.
Pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists can be seen in the footage barely outrunning trains on foot, lingering near tracks after falling, and crashing into gates with a truck, among other “reckless” behavior.
Network Rail reports that there have been “258 incidents of misuse and 33 near-misses at level crossings across Network Rail
