Vicky Kaushal couldn’t be happier about becoming a father onscreen, whereas offscreen, the actor has been dealing with ‘rumours’ related to his actress-wife’s pregnancy. Fans of the couple, who are eagerly awaiting this ‘good news’ may have to wait for a little while longer, especially now that the actor has denied it. At a recent press conference, the Manmarziyaan actor addressed these rumours and also asserted that they will be more than happy to share in case of any ‘good news’.

It all started when a blurry photo of Katrina Kaif exploring the streets of London with Vicky Kaushal, was doing the rounds of social media. This fuelled up reports of the actress’ rumoured pregnancy. Adding to it, her recent appearances with her husband in a saree at the Anant Ambani – Radhika Merchant wedding festivities only added to these ongoing reports. However, reacting to the same, Vicky told the media at the conference, “As far as the good news is concerned, we will be very happy to share it with you but for now, there is no truth to the speculations. Abhi Bad Newz enjoy kijiye, jab good news ayega to hum aapke saath zarur share karenge (Now enjoy the ‘Bad Newz (film)’ when we get the good news we will definitely share it with you guys).”
Actor also opens up about the birthday plans for his wife
Vic-Kat fans would be aware that the actress’ birthday falls on July 16 and the actor revealed that he would definitely be taking time away from his Bad Newz promotions to spend the special day with his beloved ladylove. “It’s a special day, I will rush back to celebrate her birthday, so the idea is to spend quality time. Bahot time se promotion chal rahi hai (The promotions are on for a long time) and even she has been travelling. So we will just spend quality time together,” he informed.

The actor is gearing for Bad Newz co-starring Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk in lead roles. Based on heteropaternal superfecundation, in a bizarre case a Christian-Hindu girl gets pregnant by two men at the same time after a one-night stand with them. Being the spiritual sequel to Good Newz, the film is slated for release on July 19.
