Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar made a grand appearance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding reception on Monday evening, much to the delight of fans. Kumar, who unfortunately contracted Covid-19 earlier, missed the wedding ceremony but recovered in time to join the celebrations.

After testing negative and recovering from the virus, Akshay Kumar wasted no time in extending his warm wishes to the newlyweds, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Several videos circulating online show Kumar entering the venue alongside his wife, Twinkle Khanna. The couple looked radiant in color-coordinated ethnic attire, with Akshay sporting a traditional kurta set and Twinkle dazzling in an Anarkali suit.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities have been a star-studded extravaganza, attracting A-listers from Bollywood and the business world. The celebrations, which began on July 15, have included a grand wedding ceremony, a Shubh Aashirwad ceremony, and multiple receptions. The guest list boasted some of the biggest names in Indian cinema, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, and many more. International celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and John Cena also added to the event’s glamour. On the professional front, Akshay Kumar’s latest film Sarfira, a remake of the Tamil hit Soorarai Pottru, recently hit theaters. The film, directed by Sudha Kongara, stars Kumar alongside Radhika Madan. Fans can look forward to seeing Kumar next in Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz.
