Petrol bombs and paint bombs have been thrown at police in south Belfast.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland had advised people to avoid the Broadway Roundabout where the M1 meets the Westlink on Monday night.
A spokesperson said missiles were thrown at both police officers and vehicles.
The area appears to be clear on Tuesday morning.
