“I’ve lived in this neighborhood for like 22 years and when I first heard it on the news on the television last night, I was like totally no, they have to have it wrong, that can’t be, that just doesn’t make sense. And I saw police vehicles, they showed it on TV. And I thought they must be investigating something else. And then this morning I woke up and found out it was true.”
“I’ve never had a conversation with him, no. But no, he seemed like a really, like a pretty nice kid honestly, but no, I never. And he was friendly enough, smiled, waved, you know, but no, I never had any conversations with him.”
“Like seeing his face, he looked familiar but I never really saw him around ever. He just seemed to stand away.”
Police were seen outside the home of Crooks in Bethel Park, roughly 25 minutes south of Pittsburgh.
Trump’s right ear was grazed by a bullet in the shooting at a Saturday rally in Butler, Pennsylvania in which one supporter was killed and two others were wounded before Secret Service agents shot dead Crooks.
