Lightning flashed over Chicago, Illinois, as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a tornado warning for the area on Sunday, July 14.
This footage was captured by Jason Hoffman, who said that he saw a “wild lightning show.” Tornado sirens can be heard in the footage.
The NWS said that a “round of strong to severe thunderstorms” were expected to move across Chicago on Monday evening and into the night.
