Families of two British men missing in Sweden are appealing for information on their whereabouts amid fears they were victims of a double murder.

It comes after a pair of bodies were found in a burning car in an industrial area of Malmo on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency workers made the discovery after they put out the flames – with a possible bullet hole in one of the victims, according to local media.

Police are yet to formally identify them but reports say they are British and may have been shot before the fire started.

Juan Cifuentes, 33, and Farooq Abdulrazak, 37, travelled to Denmark and Sweden for an overnight business trip and were due to return to the UK at 6pm on Sunday, according to a social media appeal.
