FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Due to a moving sweeping operation along Highway 99 in Fresno, Caltrans announced the highway within the city will be closed.
Caltrans officials say beginning Sunday, July 21 until Friday, July 26, the following will occur:

The left-hand shoulder of the number one lane on northbound and southbound Highway 99 will be closed as the moving operation takes place.

The moving closure will be from Shaw Avenue to Jensen Avenue.

Moving closure will happen overnight between 10 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.

Drivers are advised to use extreme caution in the vicinity of the moving closure or to use alternate routes during that time.
Closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur, according to Caltrans officials.
