Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion received excellent feedback for his honest portrayal of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medallist. Although this film did not include a female lead, the actor has previously worked with A-list actresses such as Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, and many others. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about the challenges that females face in the film industry.
Kartik Aaryan praises female co-stars; says, “Their hard work is much more than ours”
During the podcast Be A Man Yaar, Triptii Dimri asked Kartik Aaryan to share anything he had learned from his female co-stars, including herself. Explaining how actresses work harder than actors, Kartik responded, “I have never said this, but a lot of efforts are made by all my female co-stars especially. Bahut extra mehnat karne padti hai, hum logo se zyada. For them it isn’t just about talent or the looks.”
Kartik Aaryan added, “I can’t imagine myself wearing stilettos, managing my flipping hair and dancing all at the same time while also giving expressions and thinking about the scene. They have so many external factors. If I had to do all of this, I would have gotten nervous. I wouldn’t have been able to focus on acting. I also feel that their thought process is very broad. Their hard work is much more than ours I feel.”
Triptii Dimri and Kartik Aaryan will appear together for the first time in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Apart from the outstanding combo, Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit will also appear in the horror comedy movie. While Kartik’s character, Rooh Baba, is likely to elevate Bollywood’s largest franchise to new heights, Vidya’s OG Manjulika will up the ante further. The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, will be released in theaters on Diwali in 2024.
Additionally, sources say that Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri have already signed a second film together. Anurag Basu’s upcoming romance film will feature the couple together. In an interview with Zoom, producer Bhushan Kumar revealed that the crew is working on a film that is scheduled to begin production this month. He said, “It’ll be directed by Anurag Basu.”
Furthermore, Triptii Dimri is preparing for the release of Bad Newz on July 19. Anand Tiwari directs, and Karan Johar produces the film, which co-stars Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk.
