MELBOURNE (Reuters) – Former Australia rugby sevens player Darby Lancaster will make his test debut on the wing against Georgia on Saturday, while centre Len Ikitau returns to a much-changed Wallabies lineup after recovering from a hamstring injury.
The 21-year-old Lancaster joins an otherwise unchanged back three from the starting 15 in the 36-28 win over Wales in Melbourne last Saturday.
Allan Alaalatoa replaces Taniela Tupou as starting tighthead prop and will be the Wallabies’ third captain in three weeks, with loosehead prop James Slipper rested after leading the team in Melbourne.
Flanker Liam Wright, a surprise captaincy choice in the first test win over the Welsh in Sydney, remains sidelined following a shoulder injury.
