A 2-year-old girl went missing Thursday morning in Canton and police are asking everyone in the area where she went missing to thoroughly check their properties for the child.
The girl was last seen around 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning at her residence in the 500 block of Custer Place in Canton, police said. She has dirty blonde hair, weighs approximately 25 pounds, and was wearing blue pajamas when she was last seen.
Canton police are also asking that the general public stay away from the search area near the home in an effort to reduce foot and vehicular traffic.
“More foot and vehicle traffic will make it harder for the K-9, drones, and airplanes to identify the missing juvenile,” Canton police said in a Facebook post.
