The wait is finally over for fans of the horror-comedy franchise, Stree as the trailer for the much-awaited Stree 2 starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor was unveiled on July 17 amid much fanfare in Mumbai. While the video promises to be bigger, scarier, and funnier than the first part. But what’s also exciting is the return of the dynamic music duo, Sachin-Jigar, who are all set to spread their magic once again.

During the trailer launch event, the duo revealed some very exciting details about the film’s music. They hinted that the music album is a perfect blend of varied songs, “If you look at the album for this film, it includes a variety of songs. There’s a love song, an all-boys song, and more. It has a lot of variety, so we hope that all sections of listeners will enjoy the album and listen to it and hope that audiences will love Stree 2 just like Stree 1.”

Known for their ability to create catchy tunes with quirky lyrics, Sachin-Jigar created a series of chartbusters in the hit album of the first instalment with soundtracks such as ‘Kamariya’, ‘Milegi Milegi’, ‘Nazar Na Lag Jaaye’, and ‘Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe’. Now fans are eagerly awaiting to see what the 2024 horror comedy has in store for music lovers.

Adding yet another film to the Maddock Supernatural Universe which includes horror comedies such as Stree, Munjya, and Bhediya, comes the second instalment of the Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer. The film will also see the return of characters like Rudra Bhaiyya, Bittu, and Jana, essayed by Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee respectively. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is slated for release on August 15.
