Knights star centre Bradman Best has torn his hamstring while backing up just three days after the Origin decider.
Best pulled up lame after chasing Broncos speedster Reece Walsh in the 10th minute on Saturday night and he immediately left the game.
“Bradman Best’s evening is over, definitely a hamstring, he went straight up the tunnel and the medical staff are looking at him now,” James Hooper said on Fox League.

“It’s official, he has been ruled out and currently has ice on the hamstring.”
It’s the fourth hamstring issue for Best this season and he had reported tightness after his last club game, prior to Origin III.
Best scored the match-winning try for New South Wales on Wednesday night and was playing for Newcastle less than 72 hours later.
Any sort of strain would likely be a multi-week recovery, according to The NRL Physio.

STORM FLYER’S BREAKOUT GAME ENDS ON SOUR NOTE
Storm coach Craig Bellamy is hopeful that winger Grant Anderson has avoided serious injury on the last play of a game that some are calling his career-best performance in Melbourne’s 24-8 commanding 24-8 win over Sydney Roosters at AAMI Park on Saturday night.
Anderson produced a dazzling two-try display before hyperextending his leg on the last play of the game and had to be helped to the room with the aid of the trainers.
“It didn’t look great,” Bellamy said.
“Everyone that saw it sort of looked at it thinking there might be a bit of damage there.
“I was probably thinking ACL or at least a PCL, but I don’t think it’s that bad.
“He’ll get a scan and then we’ll go from there.”
