While Stree was definitely riding high with chart-topping hits, Sachin Jigar have promised that the album of the upcoming Stree 2 is going to be better and peppier. Vijay Ganguly too is back with his latest choreography in the much-awaited film. After creating some unforgettable dance moves in ‘Kamariya’ and ‘Milegi Milegi’ in the 2018 horror comedy, Vijay is set to delight audiences once again with his choreography in the sequel.
Stree 2: Vijay Ganguly on choreographing for the Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer; says, “So excited to be back in the franchise”
Speaking about the horror comedy, Vijay Ganguly has choreographed two key songs for the film: a dance number featuring Tamannaah Bhatia and a romantic song with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Reflecting on his experience working on the film, Vijay shared, “After ‘Kamariya’ and ‘Milegi Milegi,’ being back on Stree 2 and working with Raj sir and Shraddha, as well as Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee, was an absolute blast!”
One of the highlights for Vijay was choreographing a song featuring Tamannaah Bhatia. “Doing a song with Tamannaah was such a fantastic experience,” he said. “And collaborating with Amar Kaushik as a director on our four films is just too much fun! It’s more of a party shooting songs with him.” It is being said that the Lust Stories 2 actress plays a brief but integral cameo in the movie and the makers shared a glimpse of it in the recently released trailer.
Vijay’s style and creativity are expected to bring a fresh and exciting element to the film’s music, enhancing the audience’s overall experience.
Speaking further about Stree 2, the film features an ensemble cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana as Rudra Bhaiyya, Jana, and Bittu along with Rajkummar Rao too reprising his role as Vicky along with Shraddha Kapoor as the leading lady. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, this horror-comedy is slated to release in theatres on August 15, marking the occasion of Independence Day, this year.
