JANESVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – After a four-month investigation, authorities in Wisconsin took a 39-year-old man into custody after a search warrant reportedly revealed numerous electronic devices with child pornography.
According to a release, the Janesville Police Department’s SWAT Team executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Rockport Road at approximately 5:30 a.m. Thursday. The detective bureau says they’ve been investigating this incident for around four months before the search warrant.

K9 Handler Detective Winiarski deployed K9 Maui, an Electronic Storage Detection Canine, to assist in finding electronics in the residence.
The search warrant collected numerous electronics from the residence, resulting in the arrest of 39-year-old Brett Cochran.

Cochran was transported to the Rock County Jail on five counts of possessing child pornography. His initial court appearance is currently pending.
This incident remains under investigation, and no additional details have been provided.
