TROON, Scotland (Reuters) – American Xander Schauffele shot an inspired final-round 65 to win the British Open by two shots from England’s Justin Rose and American Billy Horschel at Royal Troon on Sunday.
World number three Schauffele, who also won this year’s PGA Championship, finished on nine under par.
