Sharvari Wagh has made waves for her role in the horror comedy Munjiya. The film has been busting box office records. Soon, she’ll be sharing the screen alongside John Abraham in the one-of-a-kind action film Vedaa. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the actress wrote a thank you card for John’s role and released a new poster from the film.

Sharvari shared the poster and wrote, “Abhimanyu Sir, Mhaari duniya mein aap ek akele aise insaan ho jisne kabhi-koi fark nahin kiya. Guru ho aap mere jisne mhaara saath diya, ladna sikhaya, duniya ki riti-niti, sahi-galat sikha ke ek fighter banaya. Anyaay sehna nahin, balki anyaay ke khilaaf jung karne ka raasta aapne dikhaya. Aap prerna ho mhaari, aur mere jaise kayi Vedaa ki! Aaj Guru Purnima ke din, vada hai yeh Fighter Vedaa ka aapse, ki yeh jung jo anyaay ke khilaaf chhedi hai maine aakhir tak ladugi bhi aur jeetugi bhi. Aapki Shishya, Vedaa.”
The film Vedaa, directed by Nikkhil Advani, will be released in cinemas on August 15. The preview provides a look into the violent combat sequence between John Abraham and Abhishek Banerjee. Sharvari Wagh appears unrecognisable in this exhilarating cinematic experience.
Back in March, John posted the teaser on Instagram and wrote, “Jhagadna nahi aata mujhe, sirf jung ladni aati hai! #VedaaTeaserOutNowâ€aeReleasing in cinemas on 12th July (sic).” The teaser portrays John Abraham as the protagonist, who faces off against Abhishek Banerjee. The teaser provides a glimpse of their confrontation. Abhishek Banerjee is portraying a politician, hinting at complicated power relations and thrilling story twists. Tamannaah Bhatia will also play a vital part.
Nikhil Advani had already expressed his delight and shared, “Vedaa is not just a film. It’s inspired from real events and is a reflection of our society and pushes the boundaries of reality.
