Despite continued good run of Kalki (Hindi), facing new challenge in the form of Sarfira and Hindustani 2, and now seeing Bad Newz finding good audiences, Kill is attracting audiences in its own small way. Yes, the collections may not be huge there. However, what matters is that they are there and in current times even, that matters, especially when a film is in its third week.

Kill Box Office: Film keeps attracting audiences in the third weekend, goes past Rs. 1 crore mark again on Sunday

Even though on Friday the film saw an expected hit with Dharma’s own Bad Newz doing quite well, it saw major resurgence on Saturday with collections almost doubling up. The numbers were still a little below the Rs. 1 crore mark but that was taken care of on Sunday as Rs. 1.05 crore came in. This was a shot in the arm for the Lakshya starrer since it goes on to show that there is an audience base out there interested in catching the film at the big screen. Of course, audience footfalls in totality are limited but for a movie that has been made for niche audiences and features a debutant in the lead, even this is a fair enough score.

In the process, the film has now crossed the Rs. 20 crores mark and currently stands at Rs. 20.86 crores. By the close of week, the film should be near the Rs. 22 crores mark and the challenge would be to eventually cross the Rs. 25 crores milestone. It would be quite challenging and perhaps it may miss reaching there. However, what it eventually gets will still be a decent enough score and help it qualify as a fair theatrical runner eventually.
