A Gnowangerup publican has avoided immediate jail for throttling his partner in the pub they co-own.
Robert John Coles, 55, appeared in Albany Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with aggravated common assault, impeding another person’s normal breathing or blood circulation by applying pressure to the neck and obstructing public officers.
