According to an X (formerly Twitter) post from the bank, this will allow its customers to add their RHB Visa cards (for both conventional and Islamic accounts) to their Google Wallet for convenient and secure access in offline payments.

Customers should keep in mind that transactions made via the US tech giant’s ewallet payment service, also known as Google Pay, will still be limited to the spending limit for the card in use. This limit can be revised via RHB online banking or a call to their customer service hotline at 03-92068118.
Payments over RM250 made using Google Pay will still require the customer’s six-digit credit card pin at the checkout terminal before approval.
Check out the bank’s website for a full list of eligible RHB banking cards.
The bank previously added support for the competing contactless mobile payment system Apple Pay back in May.
Google Pay was originally launched in Malaysia in 2022 with a limited number of banks.
The number of supported banks has increased following its launch, with the list now consisting of Maybank, Public Bank, Standard Chartered, Hong Leong Bank, CIMB, Bank Muamalat, HSBC, and AmBank, along with the newly added RHB Bank.
