Jeremy Clarkson teases ‘already in production’ as Clarkson’s Farm fans make plea over new pub: ‘Nice!’ – MASHAHER

Jeremy Clarkson has sparked excitement among a number of Clarkson’s Farm fans after delivering a fresh update about his recently purchased pub.

The Grand Tour star put pen to paper on the contracts for The Windmill in Asthall, just outside Burford in Oxfordshire, earlier this year but revealed it needed extensive work before it can open.

Sharing a snap of the wines they were analysing as well as Hogan in the background, Clarkson penned to his 8.4 million followers: “Tasting English wines for our new pub.

“There are some very very good ones,” he added, prompting floods of comments from British winemakers keen to offer their samples.

However, one Clarkson’s Farm star had another demand up his sleeve regarding the pub and how it could benefit from Clarkson’s work back at Diddly Squat.

Replying to the post, one fan asked: “Have you thought about making Mead using your honey? It’s becoming very popular.”

Luckily, Clarkson replied to the social media user to confirm: “Already in production!’

Before long, fans quickly picked up on Clarkson’s update and came forward with further suggestions.

“Nice!” the original poster replied before a second weighed in: “There’s an old beer style called Braggot, which is basically malt and honey fermented together. Might want to look into that one, too.”

And a third demanded: “I recommend to also make a non-alcoholic version of it named ‘Hammond’s Hammer’.”

Elsewhere, several of Clarkson’s followers have asked whether or not the pub could provide the setting for its very own Clarkson’s Farm spin-off series.

Sadly for now, there has been no word this will be the case but with filming for the hotly-anticipated fourth season of Clarkson’s Farm still underway, the pub may likely feature in some capacity.

The rigours of preparing to run his own pub aren’t the only ones keeping him busy of late as Clarkson faced criticism for a new measure undertaken at the farm.

The 64-year-old came under fire from local ramblers after reportedly setting up 11 beehives behind a five-foot hedge at the entrance of a lane which leads to Diddly Squat.

This has led to walkers complaining about being stung while out on their walks, something Clarkson pulled no punches about when addressing the complaints on X this week.

“I put some bee hives there because that’s the regen field and there are many things they like to pollinate. And now I’m in trouble because someone might get stung. Who’d be a farmer?” he posted.
