Bollywood casting director Mukesh Chhabra recently shared a story about Suniel Shetty’s generosity. In a podcast on YouTube, Chhabra revealed that Shetty gifted him a bungalow in Aram Nagar to help him set up his office. This act of kindness came as a result of Chhabra’s work on Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty’s debut film, Hero. “Suniel Shetty, one of the finest people in Mumbai, had a bungalow in Aram Nagar. At that time, I was working on a film with his daughter Athiya Shetty. He offered me his bungalow because he saw me working from a small office,” Chhabra said.

A new beginning in a spacious office
Chhabra recounted how Shetty’s offer allowed him to move into a more spacious office, which he then decorated and inaugurated with a new logo. This gesture significantly contributed to Chhabra’s growing success in the casting industry. He mentioned that many actors, including Rajkummar Rao, attended the inauguration. “I started my work there, and over time, we expanded to offices in Chandigarh, Delhi, and London,” Chhabra added, reflecting on his journey from that pivotal moment.
Athiya Shetty’s Bollywood journey
Athiya Shetty made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with Nikkhil Advani’s Hero, alongside Sooraj Pancholi. Since then, she has appeared in films such as Mubarakan and Motichoor Chaknachoor. Athiya is now married to cricketer KL Rahul, marking a significant chapter in her life. Her brother, Ahan Shetty, also made his debut with Milan Luthria’s Tadap in 2021, continuing the family’s presence in the film industry.
