Sharing a poignant still from Masaan on Instagram, Kaushal transported fans back to the character of Deepak Kumar, a young man grappling with loss and societal pressures. The actor’s contemplative expression in the picture resonated with viewers, who flooded the comments section with heartfelt messages.
In the recently released first episode of Be A Man Yaar, Vicky Kaushal delved into the process of embodying the character and delivering the iconic line, “Ye dukh kahe nahi khatam hota?” (Why doesn’t this sorrow end?). The actor revealed that he immersed himself in the character by spending an hour by the Ganges, imagining a personal tragedy. This method acting approach allowed him to infuse authenticity into his performance.
As Masaan continues to be celebrated for its impact, Vicky Kaushal’s career is on an upward trajectory. He is currently seen in Dharma Productions’ Bad Newz, co-starring Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. Meanwhile, he has also wrapped up Chhaava recently. In addition to this, he also has a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Love And War, which will also star Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
