EAST LANSING — The relative quiet of Michigan State University’s campus, and downtown East Lansing, won’t last for much longer as move-in day for MSU students quickly approaches.
Soon, tens of thousands students will be moving back in — or moving in for the first time — as they prepare for the start of fall semester.
More than 51,000 students were enrolled at MSU last fall. Out of those, 9,000 were freshmen. The school’s 27 residence halls and on-campus apartments have an occupancy of 18,203.
MSU has introduced a “move-in texting” option for students during move-in week that provides traffic and parking updates, along with other helpful tips right to your phone if you choose to opt-in. Sign up by texting MOVEIN2024 to 888777.
