Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man, has booked the seven-star Stoke Park hotel until September to host the celebrations, according to a report by The Sun. The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Mumbai on July 12, with the total wedding cost reportedly estimated at $500 million.

Stoke Park estate, located in Buckinghamshire outside London, is a grade II-listed, seven-star hotel that includes a mansion, golf courses, and tennis courts. Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries acquired the lease for the iconic 300-acre estate in 2021 for £57 million. The estate has been closed for renovations since its acquisition. According to the terms of the lease, Stoke Park must be used as commercial property rather than a private residence.
High-Profile guest list
The Sun reported that Prince Harry and former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson are expected to attend the post-wedding celebrations. Security has been heightened in anticipation of other notable guests, including Tony and Cherie Blair. The Ambani family’s decision to book the entire venue for two months has caused some friction with the local council and community as the hotel remains closed to the public but open to Ambani family members.
Exclusive festivities
Around 850 golf club members have been asked to avoid the club during the festivities. A source told The Sun, “The Ambanis don’t do things by halves and so thought nothing of booking the entire venue for two months. The cost is chicken feed to them. The bride and groom and family will attend different parties planned between now and September.”
