Police have released a mugshot of a criminal whose eyes are almost completely covered by his hair after he was jailed for “persistently” flouting a ban from Wrexham.
Nkonde Liandisha, 31, was banned from Wrexham, North Wales, to protect local women after he had previously shown “sexualised behaviour” and assaulted an emergency worker.
He was caught “persistently” breaching a three-year criminal behaviour order five times in 18 months that was supposed to stop him from going to Wrexham.
Liandisha was jailed for 16 months at Mold Crown Court. He will be on licence for 12 months upon his release but still be subject to the behaviour order.
Judge Niclas Parry said: “It’s time for you to understand that these court orders are there to be respected because they are put there to protect the public and, in this case in particular, to protect females.
“This is the fifth time that you have breached an order that is only about 18 months old.
“You have had short sentences and they have not worked. The sentences are going up now because the short sentences don’t stop you from defying the order.”
Alun Williams, the mitigating lawyer, said Liandisha’s mother had “had enough of him and thrown him out” which had led to a deterioration in his mental health.
