A 21-year-old woman was stabbed to death allegedly by a man at her residence in Delhi’s Dwarka on Saturday, the police stated.
The deceased has been identified as Sneha Nath Choudhary, a resident of Chhibila Bacchiya Silchar in Assam.
After receiving a call regarding an attempt to murder, the police reached the spot. Upon arrival, the police found Sneha lying on the floor in an unconscious state. She was taken to the hospital, where she was declared dead.
The police caught the accused, identified as Raj, in an injured condition.
Both Sneha and the accused, as per the police, knew each other, and they recently had some disputes.
On Saturday evening, the accused arrived at her residence and assaulted her with a knife. During the ensuing struggle, Raj also sustained an injury to his hand, according to the police.
