A Chemung County man is being held in a county jail without bail, accused of having sexual contact with a minor last year.
Painted Post-based New York State Police Wednesday arrested Travis Peckham, 52, of Pine City, charging him with ten counts of felony first-degree criminal sex act, victim less than 11-years old, and ten counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
In relation to Peckham’s arrest, state police referenced a March 6, 2023 report from the Steuben County town of Caton.
According to Steuben County jail records, Peckham was booked into the jail on Wednesday. His next court appearance was not immediately available.
