Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu was all praise for Dhanush’s second directorial venture, ‘Raayan’. The ‘Guntur Kaaram’ actor recently watched ‘Raayan’ and called it ‘brilliantly directed and performed’. He called it ‘a must-watch’ and appreciated the entire cast. In addition, Mahesh Babu praised composer AR Rahman and called it ‘electrifying’.
On July 29, Mahesh Babu watched the film and congratulated the team on his official X account.
He wrote, “#Raayan… Stellar act by @dhanushkraja…brilliantly directed and performed. Outstanding performances by @iam_SJSuryah, @prakashraaj, @sundeepkishan, and the entire cast. Written and directed by Dhanush, ‘Raayan’ is an action crime film that also explores familial bonds. The film is a special milestone for Dhanush as it marks his second directorial venture and 50th film as a lead actor.
The ensemble cast of the film includes Dhanush, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali and Saravanan in pivotal roles. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has crossed Rs 75 crore worldwide in just three days.
