The cast of the highly anticipated sequel, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, recently graced the popular Bollywood Hungama Hangout. While discussing the film’s plot and character development, Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Sunny Kaushal indulged in some light-hearted banter, revealing a surprising side to the leading lady.

Vikrant Massey Recalls Being Scolded By Taapsee Pannu
Vikrant Massey, who reprises his role as Rishu from the first installment, confessed to being on the receiving end of Taapsee’s strict demeanor. “I got scolded a lot by Taapsee,” he shared. “During the first part, our set was a 5-minute walk from our hotel. When we used to go for lunch, I would still take 10 minutes, and she would say, ‘You live just 5 minutes away and still arrive 10 minutes late.'”
Sunny Kaushal’s Close Encounter
Newcomer to the franchise, Sunny Kaushal, also had a memorable experience with Taapsee. “It was the first day of the shoot for Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, and Taapsee and I were shooting together,” he recalled. “There was a camera set up, and our still photographers were clicking pictures constantly. Meanwhile, Taapsee was talking to the director, and in the middle of the conversation, she looked at the still photographers and said, ‘Either you do the shooting or let us do it.’ I was like, ‘It’s the first day, let them warm up. Don’t scold them at least today. Scold them later.”
Taapsee Pannu Defends Her Stance
When asked about her reputation as a strict taskmaster, Taapsee clarified her perspective. “I won’t invest my time, effort, or blood pressure on people I don’t care about. My life is too short and precious to waste on shouting at people who don’t matter to me. So, if I’m addressing you and talking to you on set, and even if I’m showing that I’m not okay with something, it’s because I believe you’re worthy of being a part of my life and my mindset,” she explained.
Speaking of the upcoming film, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba will be released on Netflix on August 9.
