Collingwood great Nathan Buckley is the latest big name to withdraw from the race to replace Adam Simpson as West Coast coach.
Buckley was considered a strong contender to become the Eagles’ next coach, having led the Magpies in 218 games from 2012 until midway of 2021, including the 2018 grand final which they lost to Simpson’s side.
