SHANDON, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The three people who were from the Central Valley and were killed in a deadly crash in a town near Paso Robles on Sunday night have been identified by the California Highway Patrol.
According to CHP, at around 10:28 p.m., a driver was traveling the wrong way on Highway 46 in Shandon when it collided with another vehicle head-on.

Inside the second vehicle were four people from the Central Valley. The crash killed the driver and two of the passengers.
CHP has identified the three people who passed as 24-year-old Rosalinda Bucio from Cutler, 27-year-old Francisco J. Polinasainz from Reedley, and 32-year-old Yvette Guzman from Sanger.
According to CHP, the driver who was going the wrong way was transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno with major injuries. A third vehicle being driven by a man from Bakersfield was also involved in the crash; that driver received minor injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation.
