Kriti Sanon has been enjoying sundowner parties and exploring the picturesque locales of Greece in her recent trip. Amid that, a photo of the actress has garnered extensive attention on social media for multiple reasons. While some have pointed out that the actress is vaping in the photo as she is seen dining with her friends, a few others are more interested in her alleged relationship with Kabir Baharia. This photo, which found its way on Reddit, has sparked many discussions among users.
Users criticizing her actions dropped comments like, “Send it to her mom directly” and “Dekhao yeh koi geeta aunty ko (Show this to Geeta aunty someone)”. Meanwhile, many of her fans also came to her defense yet again and responded to these comments with their share of remarks like, “Come on this is normal. DONT BE THAT CCTV AUNTY. I have never told my mom about the sins I commit let alone smoking is just basics.” One of the fans went on to say that the photo has been misrepresented and added, “Some people on the way to defend her by saying that she is not smoking , that’s her finger. What was the controversy about?
After a video from her vacation showing her smoking cigarettes went viral on social media, an old tweet by Kriti Sanon’s mother, Geeta Sanon, resurfaced wherein she had tweeted, “She (Kriti) has always been anti-smoking and always asked people around her to quit smoking.” The actress too had confessed that she had only smoked cigarettes only as a part of her role in the film Bareilly Ki Barfi but never indulged it in real life. This tweet has reignited discussions about Kriti’s personal choices versus her public statements. The resurfaced tweet has added fuel to the debate, with many questioning the authenticity of Kriti’s anti-smoking stance.
