The investigation began on July 23 when SAPD detectives were notified of an alleged large-scale and ongoing theft at 1852 Sherwood Way.

Preliminary findings indicate that approximately $1 million has been stolen from this location over the course of the past year.

Arrest warrants were issued for both Amigleo and Munoz, leading to their apprehension without incident.

“On Sunday, July 28 detectives executed two search warrants at local residences, resulting in the discovery of various pieces of evidence and proceeds related to the crime,” according to the release.

Both were arrested on July 28 for theft of property and have since been released.
