A hot air balloon narrowly avoided a house as it landed in a garden in Massillon, Ohio, on Friday, July 26.
Resident John Jason Dietrick captured mobile and CCTV footage of a RE/MAX hot air balloon as it came down on Glacier Avenue. The balloon passes close over a neighbor’s roof, with a short blast of the burner heard as it just keeps enough altitude to avoid the house and land in a front garden.
Dietrick’s footage shows people with RE/MAX shirts step out of a car and run toward the hot air balloon as it lands in a garden, much to the delight of onlookers.
“Ha! This is awesome,” Dietrick can be heard saying in the video.
