“First of all, we all are a part of Hindi cinema. That’s the point. A festive weekend is coming. I don’t look at it as us against them. I love Amar Kaushik, I have great respect for the work he does. I want both our films to do well. I want Hindi films to do well. We have to work hard to make our industry prosperous, when a festive weekend like that comes, we should ask our audiences to come in. I gave them a shoutout,” he said.

The director’s sportsmanlike spirit was further evident in the trailer itself. A subtle yet impactful shoutout to Stree 2 was included in the final ten seconds, with a quote reading, “Stree Aur Purush Dono Dekhein.”
Aziz explained, “It’s my way of calling out to Amar and saying that let’s have a great weekend at the box-office. Let’s all do well because that’s what Hindi cinema needs.”
With a cluster of holidays and a strong lineup of films, the stage is set for a thrilling box office battle.
