According to Sunidhi, while auto-tune can enhance a voice, its overuse results in voices sounding remarkably similar, which she finds problematic.

During the conversation, Sunidhi pointed out that auto-tune has become a standard tool in the music industry. She observed that many singers now view it as an essential part of their recording process. “I’ve heard so many singers walk into the studio and ask, ‘I’m going to go on the mic, but there’s auto-tune, right?’ It has become a basic expectation,” she noted. This dependency on auto-tune, according to Sunidhi, detracts from the individuality of each singer’s voice.
