Bringing back the popular onscreen couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, after a long hiatus, was the Ayan Mukerji entertainer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Also co-starring Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur, the film that is a coming-of-age drama revolving around friendship and love continues to remain a cult among youngsters even today that is over a decade after its release. It seems that ahead of Friendship Day on August 4, the makers, decided to share some special memories.

The photos included not only the film’s leads Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone but also director Ayan Mukerji who is seen giving instructions to his actors and the team. While the first photo features Ranbir Kapoor in work mode as a cinematographer (which is his onscreen role) from the song ‘Elahi’, the second one is from the climax with Deepika looking gorgeous in a de-glam look in her light brown sweater. The photo dump also features a sweet pic of Madhuri Dixit from her special cameo in the song ‘Ghagra’ along with their choreographer Farah Khan. In yet another photo, we can see Deepika Padukone as pretty as ever in her famous blue saree from the song ‘Badtameez Dil’.

Many of them dropped comments like, “Bestestestest movie I love it U guys nailed ittt”, “This movie has my whole heart” and “Best movie ever ….I never get tired of watching this movie”. One of the fans also penned a sweet note about the universal appeal of the film and added, “I saw this for the first time just a few weeks ago and loved it! The themes are universal. It just goes to show that doesn’t matter where you are in the world or what your background is, a great story will always get you right in the feels and leave you with a big dumb smile on your face as you watch the magic happening on the screen!”
