A 14-year-old girl who was reported missing in Kitchener, Ont., has been found after an Amber Alert was issued Monday.
The alert was issued around 7:20 p.m. and ended around 7:45 p.m.
Speaking to CBC News, Waterloo Regional Police said the girl’s family had returned home on Monday and found it was broken into. That’s when they realized their daughter was missing, the force’s director of public affairs Cherri Greeno said.
The girl’s personal belongings were left behind, she added.
