He is so convincing in that. If he holds a gun, you know he is going to shoot it off. If he punches somebody, then you know he has hit somebody for real. His presence is just second to none, and no wonder he has been the greatest hero of all times.”
Embracing the realism of Jaideep Ahlawat’s performances
Karwa also spoke highly of Jaideep Ahlawat’s grounded and realistic performances. “Jaideep, it’s one of those very real performances, so grounded—everything just from the way he speaks to the turmoil that you can see on his face. How he is worn down. Just a man who is a cop by profession, goes to work but at the same time is struggling in his personal life and overcoming insecurities all the time. A conflicted portrayal of a character of a cop who is seeing the human side of a real society hero, I think that was really special about Jaideep’s performance.”
