MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man caught on camera allegedly stealing over $1,000 from a Northeast Memphis Tops Bar-B-Q is now wanted by Memphis Police.
Monday around 4 a.m., officers say they responded to a burglary of a business at Tops Bar-B-Q at 6130 Macon Road.
An unknown man reportedly broke into the store by busting the back window of the business. Police say he then pried the floor safe open and took $1,200.
The suspect stayed in the store for several hours before leaving through the back door and walking away from the scene, according to reports.
This is still an ongoing investigation.
