National weather TV crews have made their way to the Myrtle Beach area this week.
Ginger Zee of “Good Morning America” was live from Myrtle Beach Wednesday morning and crews from The Weather Channel have been spotted Tuesday and Wednesday.
The crews have descended on the area in response to Tropical Storm Debby which hit the Myrtle Beach area Tuesday and is expected to continue with heavy rainfall and possible storm surge Wednesday and Thursday.
The area is expected to receive life-threatening flooding, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Crews from The Weather Channel were spotted in Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach on Tuesday.
Crews also interviewed residents, including Bubba Love, who is well known on the MarshWalk and operates Bubba’s Love Shak.
The Weather Channel was seen filming on the beach Wednesday morning.
