Olympic Kingsway will host a mouthwatering tie against A-League Men outfit Adelaide United, while Perth Glory are off to Queensland in the last 16 of the Australia Cup.
Fresh off their 4-1 win over Edgeworth Eagles at Kingsway Sporting Complex, the Green Machine are set to host the Reds for a spot in the quarter-finals.
Olympic’s win over Edgeworth meant they were the first WA side since 2017 to reach the round of 16 in the Australia Cup.
Perth have been rewarded for two successive wins over A-League sides in Brisbane Roar and Melbourne City with a more palatable away trip against an NPL side.
Glory will head to north Brisbane for their clash as they take on NPL Queensland outfit Moreton City Excelsior FC, who smashed Campbelltown City 5-1 in their round of 32 match.
If the Glory win, they will play the winner of NWS Spirit and Melbourne Victory in the quarter-final, while if Kingsway can upset Adelaide, they will play the winner of Lions FC — who downed Perth RedStar in the round of 32 — and Western Sydney Wanderers.
Should Perth fight their way through to the semifinals, they would face the winner of the Adelaide, Kingsway, Lions and Wanderers bracket.
The round of 16 games will be played from August 24-28, with exact dates for each fixture to be announced in the coming days.
The quarter-finals will take place from September 11-15, with the semifinals on the weekend of September 21 and 22 and the final to take place on October 5.
