NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KETK) – Three men and four teenagers were charged with capital murder on Thursday in connection to the death of 18-year-old Angel Bonilla.
Prosecutors to seek death penalty for family friend accused of killing Audrii Cunningham
On July 30, the Nacogdoches Police Department said a deceased teenager, identified as Bonilla, was found in a residence in the 400 block of W. California Street after police received reports that the home has been hit multiple times by gunfire.
“A total of three individuals are believed to have been struck by gunfire during the homicide,” Nacogdoches PD said.
According to officials, the suspects planned to rob the individuals at the home and evidence suggests at at least three of the suspects used firearms during the robbery.
Officials issued capital murder warrants for the following Nacogdoches residents: 20-year-old Raul Molina Lopez, 21-year-old Nathan Joshua Sauceda, 19-year-old Santiago Mendoza, 21-year-old Gerardo Christopher Ocon, 19-year-old Lionso Antonio Torres and 17-year-old Eder Torres. Martin H. Montalvo, 19 of Lufkin, was also served a warrant.
