The resurgent Titans can keep their finals hopes alive with a win when they host a depleted Sharks outfit at Cbus Super Stadium on Friday night.

The Titans sit 11th but just two wins outside of the eight after winning five of their last six games — including a close victory over the Sharks in Round 18.

After a tough start to the year, Des Hasler has got his side humming and they’re flying high after an upset win over the Broncos last week.

Now they take on a reshuffled Sharks side that’s been playing well below their best — but are still sitting in the top four.

With Nicho Hynes (ankle) and now Braydon Trindall (hamstring) sidelined Cronulla coach Craig Fitzgibbon has been forced to get creative with his halves.

Crafty hooker Blayke Brailey has been named at halfback to partner five-eighth Dan Atkinson, while Cameron McInnes will start at hooker and Jayden Berrell joins the bench for his second NRL game.

For the Titans, Klese Haas replaces Beau Fermor, who suffered kidney bruising last week, while AJ Brimson remains makes his return from a groin injury in place of Brian Kelly, who is out due to an illness.
