Khamoshi: The Musical traces the journey of a talented aspiring singer born to mute and deaf Christian parents. The film deals with the intricacies in the life of Annie, as she gets caught between her family, love, and dreams. Also starring Nana Patekar, Seema Biswas, Helen, Himani Shivpuri, among others, the film resonated with the audiences for its perfect blend of romance and emotions.
Meanwhile, the celebrated filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently enjoyed rave reviews for his web-series debut Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, which also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh. The show premiered on Netflix in May 2024 and reports have it that the filmmaker has kicked off work on season 2 as well. Apart from that, he will also be directing the highly-anticipated Love & War which marks his reunion with Ranbir Kapoor after the latter’s debut Saawariya in 2007 and also stars Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt.
