A top WA fund manager has reignited calls for Diggers & Dealers to move to Perth and turn the annual mining bonanza into a more family friendly event and welcoming environment for women.
Russell ‘Rusty’ Delroy — who manages $170 million under his Nero Resources Fund out of Napoleon Street Cottesloe — reckons the three-day forum in Kalgoorlie-Boulder has got to such a size and significance that it has “truly outgrown itself” and “desperately needs to evolve”.
